Late Developer, 2016 Ceramic ornaments, plaster, wood, paint, screws, metal grill, photograph and tape, glazed ceramic, cat litter, cabinets and table.

The Royal Standard, Liverpool will be presenting a special iteration of Nomadic Vitrine featuring work by Alex Frost. The Vitrine launched at the Assembly on Friday 26th May.

Alex Frost makes objects that point to the site as a fluid space. His sculptures contort the solidity of distinctions like inside and the outside, public and private, the visible and the invisible. Alex Frost’s practice spans a 20 year period over which he has shown nationally and internationally, including at Flat Time House, London, Museum Ludwig, Cologne, Dundee Contemporary Arts, Fruitmarket, Edinburgh, Studio Voltaire, London, Milton Keynes Gallery, Tramway, Glasgow, Hunter College, New York and in 2009 he participated in the Venice Biennale. He currently lives and works in London.
