Lauren Godfrey | Interview by David McLeavy - read it here Lauren Godfrey’s work spans performance, sculpture and collage. Following her appearance in Bloomberg New Contemporaries in 2012 she has exhibited in various locations in Britain along with showing work in France and Italy. Her work looks at the point where language and objects meet and aims to explore that moment.
Evan Ifekoya is an interdisciplinary artist, exploring the politicisation of culture, society and aesthetics. Appropriated material from historical archives and contemporary society make up the work. By ‘queerying’ popular imagery and utilising the props of everyday life, Ifekoya aims to destroy the aura of preciousness surrounding art.
