SS BLUE JACKET exhibition catalogue by BLISS (Lucy Stein & Simon Bayliss)

SS BLUE JACKET was an exhibition curated by Lucy Stein and Simon Bayliss at KARST, Plymouth in 2013.

The show included work by Beryl Cook, Peter Lanyon, Shana Moulton, Lucy Stein, Edward Stein, Merlin James, Robert Lenkiewicz, Simon Bayliss and Simon Fujiwara.

The catalogue was designed by graphic artist Rupert Gowar-Cliffe, and includes a ‘conversation’ between Stein and Bayliss which outlines the themes of the exhibition 'SS BLUE JACKET', based on the personal discussions which sparked it. Also included are commissioned essays in response to the project, by Gimpel Fils gallerist René Gimpel and Glasgow-based writer Rachal Bradley.
