Caroline Jane Harris' practice explores an expansive interest in photography, printmaking and the apparatuses and technologies of image formation from mechanical to digital means.

Harris graduated from MA Fine Art at City&Guilds of London Art School in 2015, where she was awarded ‘Norman Ackroyd Prize for Etching’, and ‘Roger de Gray Drawing Prize’. Harris was invited to stay on as Research Printmaking Fellow at the University until 2018. For 2016-17 Harris was selected as ‘Artist in Residence’ at The Florence Trust, London and in 2017 was awarded a solo exhibition at ASC Gallery selected by critic and curator Paul Carey-Kent. In 2019 Harris had a solo show with Kristin Hjellegjerde in London ‘A Three-Dimensional Sky’ and won the 8th Dentons Art Prize in association with Dentons law firm. Her most recent solo exhibition ‘A Stopped World’ took place at Kristin Hjellegjerde, Berlin in October 2020, at the same time she was also nominated for 'Queen Sonja Print Award'.
